This class will cover the basics of your new sewing machine. We will also cover needle and thread basics.
Learn tips and tricks for foundational paper piecing. For this class, choose from a bee, or one of two different butterfly blocks.
Bring your current project and join fellow makers for an open, collaborative sewing session. This is a space for creativity, connection, and shared learning—not structured teaching. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced sewists. We encourage cross-pollination of all ages and skill levels! Our staff coach will be available for light support and troubleshooting, but the session is designed as a self-directed, social sewing forum rather than individual instruction. Studio equipment (cutting tables, irons, design wall, etc.) will be available for use. Bring your own machine and sewing tools and notions. Free to attend; registration required to reserve your seat, space limited.
