Introduction to Machine Quilting with Donna Hamill

Machine quilting is the process of stitching layers of a quilt together using a sewing machine. The introduction/demo session will cover various mechanical aids and tools to simplify the quilting process. Key topics include:
- Setup of the sewing machine
- Types of needles and appropriate presser feet
- Selection of thread and basting techniques
- Techniques for pulling threads to the top, starting and stopping, and testing for proper tension.
Additionally, class samples will be explained, with time allocated to prepare samples required for the Lines and Meander classes.
No machines needed! Lecture/Demo Class!
