This is a techniques class to master the skills to bind your quilts with flat, straight and a perfect mitered corner! In class you will learn the traditional double folded binding, invisible hand stitching, why and when to use bias binding, scrappy bindings and color/fabric change mitered sewn corner binding. Many samples will be reviewed and optional bindings for those samples will be discussed. Be sure to join Lynn for some great fun as you explore the finishing touch of bindings! If students have a project that is ready for binding, they are encouraged to bring it to class to discuss their options.

A kit will be provided for this class. (The cost is $15, payable to Instructor in class, cash preferred) The kit includes all instructions, quilted sandwiches and pre-cut binding fabric.

BUILT-IN SNOW DATE! If this class is cancelled due to inclement weather the snow date will be February, 7th 12-4pm.
