Binding Beyond the Basics - with Lynn Wheatley

This is a techniques class to master the skills to bind your quilts with a little flare with perfection! In class you will learn the Faux or flanged binding, machine binding and the ?” miniature binding. Many samples will be discussed about other types of additional features like piping, ric-rack, scalloped, etc., to create just the flare you want. Be sure to join me for some great fun as we explore the finishing touch of bindings! If students have a project that is ready for binding, they are encouraged to bring it to class to discuss their options.

A kit will be provided for this class. (The cost is $20, payable to Instructor in class, cash preferred) The kit includes all instructions, quilted sandwiches and pre-cut binding fabric.

Requirements:	Students should be very comfortable with making a clean mitered binding before enrolling in this class or have already taken Lynn's Binding Basics Class.
