Students will learn how to stitch the traditional Japanese 'Miru Shibori' technique. This is a hand-stitched technique reminiscent of the beautiful pattern of inner tree circles, with the resulting pattern having a sense of balance and peace. Students will be guided as they stitch the radial design which is then gathered and bound into a 3D form in the traditional Shibori tradition.
