Sewing Machines can be dropped off any day during regular business hours at:
Quilting With Color, 21 Taft Corners Shopping Center, Williston, VT.
(Same shopping center as 99 Restaurant)
Mon-Sat 10-4 Closed Sundays
Machines will be picked up and dropped off once per week. The day of the week will depend on volume of machines received and may not always be on the same day of the week. Services will typically be completed within a one week timeframe unless non-stocked parts are required. Machines purchased from Quilters Corner at Middlebury Sew-N-Vac (QCMSV) will receive Priority service. As noted below in Fees/Payment, your machine will not be returned for pick-up until payment has been made.
Fees/Payment
QCMSV will notify you, by phone and/or email, when your machine is completed. Payment will be made via Credit Card by calling QCMSV. No payments will be taken at Quilting with Color (QWC) Your machine will not be returned for pick-up until payment has been made. At the time payment is made, QCMSV will let you know the date your machine will be available for pick-up. You may also pick-up directly at QCMSV. Payment will be expected to be made promptly once you are notified of service completion. A $15 storage fee will be added if not paid for within 30 days of notification of completion. An additional $15 fee will be added for machines not picked up from Quilting with Color within 30 days of drop-off date. Machine accessories (feet, bobbins etc) can also be purchased for pick-up with your machine.
Service Types
COA – (Clean Oil & Adjust) is a routine inspection, cleaning, oiling and basic adjusting of a sewing machine. It may also be called a “Tune-up”. COA's have set fees and vary depending on the machine type.
Service –Service is performed at an hourly rate. There will be a minimum $28 bench fee for all service work. For service issues, if possible, please include a sample of the fabric with the stitching issue so that we can better determine the problem. Please note that many tension and stitching issues are fixed during a routine COA process. The cost of diagnosing and servicing a single service issue can be as much as the cost of a more comprehensive COA.

The service agreement is between you, the customer, and The Quilters Corner at Middlebury Sew-N-Vac (QCMSV). Service will be performed by a qualified technician from QCMSV. Transportation from and to Quilting with Color (QWC)will be done by QCMSV staff. QWC will be providing a Drop-off / Pick-up location only and has no other affiliation with QCMSV. Any questions or concerns about the servicing of your machine should be directed to QCMSV. QWC shall not be held liable
for any claims, actions, suits, demands, damages, liabilities, obligations, losses, settlements, judgments, costs and expenses (including without limitation attorneys' fees and costs) of Customer arising from the use of this Service or any delay due to QCMSV’s ability to provide timely Drop-off / Pick-up Service, unless such damage arises from gross negligence or willful misconduct of QWC. QCMSV will exercise utmost care in servicing your machine entrusted to us and
use such processes which, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and conditions of each machine. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials, due to the age of the machine or otherwise, which may result in damage or development of post-service issues that are not readily apparent prior to servicing.
